February 2008 In This Issue
Dear AGEHR Members, It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I am leaving AGEHR to pursue a career in development and fundraising. My last day in the office will be Wednesday, February 20. I have been honored to be involved with the Guild—a fine arts organization with a rich history and whose members are loyal, dedicated, and passionate. Thank you for your inspiration, support, and kindness for the past three years. I leave with sweet memories and a big smile thanks to you. I appreciate you welcoming me and my family into your hearts. I wish you all peace, joy, and continued success. Whenever I hear an English handbell (now that you taught me the characteristics of one) I will think of you. Fondly, A Note From the Executive Director It was with great sadness that I accepted the resignation of Dan Virzi last week. Dan has served AGEHR well during his time with the organization both as Membership and Marketing Director and as Interim Executive Director. I hope you all join me in wishing Dan great success in his future endeavors. With Dan’s departure, we have an important role to fill in the AGEHR national staff structure. Because of the changing environment of our organization as well as the recent changes in staffing and the different skills that are now available to us, I have created a new job description and title for this position to better meet the needs of AGEHR membership. We are now seeking a Director of Membership and Administration to join the national office team in Dayton. Please follow this link for a complete job description and qualifications required.
