Registration for the Master Class will require a completed Application Form and full payment of the registration fee.
Registration cost: $400 – includes a six-meal package.
The Master Class is limited to 10 participants to enable individual instruction sessions with Mr. Sherman. Participants will have access to keyboards with ample time in the schedule to work on their compositions. The format will also include group discussions and an opportunity to ring the works in progress.
Application form and payment deadline is November 1, 2008.
If an application is rejected for any reason, the payment will be refunded in full. If rejected due to lack of space, the applicant will be placed on a waiting list should he/she so desire.
Cancellation policy: A full refund, minus a $100 administrative charge, will be issued for cancellations made prior to December 1, 2008. Cancellations made after December 1, 2008 will be given a full refund, minus a $100 administrative charge, if the reserved space can be filled by someone on the waiting list. If the reserved space cannot be filled, no refund will be issued.
Applicants must also submit at least one, but no more than three scores of works in progress for handbells. Mr. Sherman will evaluate the scores to determine acceptance into the Master Class. Published works may also be submitted, but having pieces in print is not a requirement for this event. Copies should be kept of everything submitted.

ATTENDANCE AT ALL SESSIONS IS MANDATORY. The program will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, January 9, 2009 and conclude at 12:00pm on Monday, January 12, 2009. You must make your travel plans accordingly.
Additional equipment you may want to bring:
- A laptop computer with a music program
- A flash drive (Both of these items proved to be essential at previous Master Classes)
- A portable printer if available
Travel & Lodging
Travel and lodging are in addition to the registration fee. Registrants are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements. Accommodations are approximately $89 plus tax/night and include a continental breakfast. Contact information will be provided following acceptance of application.
